Artistic Statement
In my life, I incorporate a wide array of fun such as barking, running, circling, eating, and a wide variety of napping into my day.
Additional themes of nonsense, menacing, and mayhem appear from time to time as well. Also shaping my life is the constant preoccupation with eating. Inspiration derives in the many found fragments of food found in my wanderings, old and decaying scraps, dropped and misplaced scraps, and rarely fresh scraps.
Many days have also increasingly been influenced by swims at the beach and long walks in the woods.
For me, these intimate days evoke a world hungry, tired, and raw; a world of hope and longing.
