The Foundry received certification as a Minority Women Business Enterprise (MWBE) by New York State Department of Economic Development, Division of Minority and Women’s Business Development (DMWBD).<\/p>\n

The MWBE certification for minority women-owned business is the most recognizable and sought after certification of its kind. DMWBD\u2019s standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a minority, and a woman or women.<\/p>\n
By including minority women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier\/vendor diversity programs.<\/p>\n
