This listing is for an antique hardwood (I believe it is ebony) cane walking stick from Anglo-Indian Vizagapatam area of India, and is probably from mid-to-late 19th century. The cane is 36 1/2" L and is nicely tapered and with no sways. The wood is dense and hard, and of a very dark brown color with lighter coffee colored areas. The copper ferule is in great shape and has use wear that is at the correct angle for surface contact today.
