Images that carry the whole idea.
Most visuals look fine and say nothing, because whoever made them was handed a brief instead of the thinking behind it. We make film and photography from the strategy and the story up—so the work means what your brand means.
NY / FL
Most images look expensive and say nothing.
You spend real money, and what comes back is polished and empty. Sometimes it’s a crew that never saw your positioning, so the work decorates the surface and misses the point. Sometimes it’s a video that’s beautiful and forgettable, or photos that could belong to any company in your category. Sometimes it’s fine for the launch and useless a year later. Same gap underneath: the advantage that lives in your strategy and your story never makes it into the frame—and the market sees something polished and remembers none of it.

The reason our work lands is who’s behind the camera. This crew comes from a studio that also builds the brand strategy and tells the founder stories—so they arrive fluent in what you mean, not just how to shoot it. And because we capture motion and stills from the same set, the film and the photography tell one story, not two.
Directors, cinematographers, photographers, editors, audio, lighting, writers—one team under one roof, thirty-five years, documentary roots. Artists first, operators second. It’s why the work looks like art and still does the job it was hired to do.
We come from documentary—and we own every seat on set.
THE FOUNDRY IMAGE METHOD™
Three steps to a film that keeps working.
Excelsior University — My Story Has Value
How do you prove someone’s past is worth a degree?
We built the campaign that made Excelsior’s rarest advantage impossible to miss—the students themselves, telling their own credit stories, cut for broadcast, online, and social. It ran for nearly two years.
Expertises
Services
Excelsior accepts an uncommon amount of prior credit—college, professional certificates, military training. It’s the best reason to enroll and the hardest to believe. An adult who thinks it’s too late, or that years of work and service count for nothing in a classroom, won’t act on a benefit they don’t trust.
You can’t argue someone into valuing their own life. You have to show it. A voiceover explaining a credit policy slides right past; a person you recognize, telling their own story, doesn’t. The job was to make an abstract promise—we count what you’ve already done—personal enough to believe.
So we filmed the people, not the policy. Intimate portraits of actual students walking through where their credits came from: prior college, the job, the military. To make the invisible benefit visible, kinetic typography ran a live tally on screen—you watched a life turn into a transcript. The voiceover carried the differentiator; the faces carried the belief. We cut it into :60, :30, :15, and :10 for broadcast, online, and social.
Excelsior ran it for nearly two years—the runway a campaign only gets by working.
People don’t believe a claim about their own worth. They believe someone who looks like them, saying it out loud. The fastest way to make an abstract advantage land is to put a face and a true story in front of it.
How the work runs.
Sometimes the work is the whole engagement. Just as often, it's where a brand system or a founder's story becomes something people can watch and see. We capture motion and stills together, so one shoot feeds the film, the site, and the campaign at once. And because the crew is in-house, you're not managing freelancers or paying a markup on strangers.
What changes.
Your strategy stops living in a deck and your story stops living in one person's head—both become images people can watch, share, and remember. The work looks like it came from who you actually are, and the best pieces keep earning for years. Shoot once, use it everywhere.
You make things worth watching. Your images should prove it. Let's make them.
Tell us what you're making and what it's for. If we're right for it, you'll know fast. If we're not, we'll tell you.
